Wild-foraged vs. Organic
We take pride in the fact that our alcohol-free Ceybon AF aperitifs contain a mix of the highest quality organic and wild-foraged ingredients. The difference between these two types of ingredients is simple: Organic herbs are cultivated according to USDA organic guidelines, while wild-foraged herbs are found and harvested in natural ecosystems. A note on wild-foraged herbs: we do our research to make sure these plants are harvested ethically, with sustainability and ecological health in mind! To help you understand our Ceybon AF drinks more, and which category each of our ingredients belongs to, we broke it down for you:

Wild-foraged Herb Spotlight: Chaparral
Chaparral, also known as creosote to non-herbalists, is a desert shrub, growing wildly and abundantly in the Chihuahuan, Sonoran, and Mojave deserts. The small resinous leathery leaves give off a special desert-rain scent when showers finally arrive in desert ecosystems, and the yellow flowers are a key resource for countless native bees. Chaparral herb has traditionally been used for its strong anti-microbial properties to treat infections of all kinds - bacterial, fungal, and viral - topically and, in small doses, internally. In addition, this incredible desert herb is a powerful antioxidant, decreasing inflammation and promoting healthy digestion by toning the liver. Wild-foraged chaparral is a delicious addition to our Ceybon Happy AF aperitifs!
